I doubt that they will be crediting anyones bill or lowering prices anytime soon. In the few years that I have had U-verse, they have moved quite a few channels to the Premium HD Tier. It is very frustrating. However, they have added quite a few HD channels to the normal tier. Especially when compared to most other local cable operators. So in AT&T’s mind, they are balancing it out with more lower price channels on the normal tier and they feel that they can justify moving the other channels to the Premium… Although it is only $5, I still wish the Premium Tier had more to offer and that they would quit moving channels from the standard tier.

I was using CHARTER for a few years. I changed to ATT Uverse because CHARTER was not available at the location I moved to. For Me Charter HD is superior than ATT Uverse. After 4 months using it ATT send me a letter saying that starting November 16th 2009 they are removing 2 channels, HD NET and HD Movie from my package and that they will be part of the HD Tier that has an additional cost. Will they lower my monthly payment too? I am very dissapointed because they were the channels I watch the most.
